Dr. Corrinne Lobe attended
law school at the University of Toronto and
articled on Bay Street at Canada's second
largest law firm, where she focused on
Intellectual Property law and Advertising and
Marketing regulations. She has experience in
patents, trademarks, copyright, intellectual
property assignments and licenses, biotech
startups and company formation.
Corrinne has a strong background
in life sciences. She has a Ph.D. in
Biochemistry and did post-doctoral research at
the Max Planck Society in Gottingen, Germany.
She was an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry
at McMaster University and Associate Professor
in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the
University of Toronto. Her laboratory
researched the genetics of development and
cancer and was funded by national granting
agencies, including the CIHR and the National
Cancer Institute of Canada. Corrinne has
published her research in leading scientific
journals and given talks at national and
international meetings.
