founder and partner
Corrinne Lobe, PhD, JD
is a co-founder of Innovate LLP. She has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patents, registering trademarks and providing advice to clients on the most effective way to protect their intellectual property and optimize the value of their business. Corrinne can also assist with company formation and structure.
Prior to practising law, Corrinne obtained her Ph.D. in biochemistry and did post-doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute in Gottingen, Germany. She ran a research laboratory at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto and was an Associate Professor in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto.
Corrinne enjoys meeting with clients and working with them to achieve their goals.

Ramesh Rajaduray, MS, PhD
has extensive experience in patent strategy consulting, patent drafting, patent prosecution, patent licensing support, patent litigation support and patent brokerage support. He has worked on North American and European patent matters and has experience in a number of technology fields including hardware, software, networking, optical communications, financial software and social media.
Dr. Rajaduray received a doctorate from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, Santa Barbara in 2005. He has a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2000), a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Western Australia (1998), and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia (1998). He also has a patent in semiconductor characterization.

ASSOCIATE LAWYER
Ben Su, BSc, MSc, JD
is a Lawyer at Innovate. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa. Ben previously interned at Miller Thomson LLP’s Corporate Commercial practice, assisting clients in Kitchener-Waterloo’s innovation community.
Ben has built a spectrum of industry experience, including tech commercialization, SaaS product development and associated private health information and privacy protection policies.
During his studies, Ben served as a member of the National Health Law committee and the Legal Futures Initiative at the Canadian Bar Association. Ben is the recipient of the 2018 Canadian Bar Association’s National Health Law Essay Award and Professor Vern Krishna Scholarship for excellence in business law.
